Barrow Raiders' Coral Challenge Cup tie was one of few sporting events in the Furness area to survive the onslaught of Storm Dennis over the course of the weekend.
Barrow AFC's National League fixture against Dagenham & Redbridge was the first to go on Friday afternoon when heavy rain waterlogged the pitch at Holker Street.
The only amateur football game to survive was Holker Old Boys' match against AFC Darwen, while in rugby league the Barton Townley Cup quarter final between Barrow Island and Walney Central also fell victim.
In rugby union, Hawcoat Park's home game against Silloth was postponed as well, but Millom and Windermere were both able to play in Cumbria Division One.
