Barrovian Georgia Stanway put through her own net late on in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Everton in the Women's Super League on Saturday evening.
German striker Pauline Bremer struck twice for the hosts at the Academy Stadium, putting them ahead after 18 minutes by forcing the ball into the net from Lauren Hemp's cut-back before doubling up by finding the top corner.
The points were safe for City when Gemma Bonner produced a scrappy finish at the back post from Caroline Weir's free kick.
Stanway then kept City behind Arsenal in the table on goals scored when an Everton corner went in off her.
