Barrow's Liam Livingstone took his first wicket in the Big Bash League as Perth Scorchers recorded their second win in this season's competition with a 40-run victory against Brisbane Heat.
After Livingstone had made 12 with the bat, 50 off 42 balls from Cameron Bancroft helped the Scorchers to a seemingly chaseable 149-6 from their 20 overs at the Gold Coast's Metricon Stadium.
However, the Heat collapsed in reply as 3-16 from leg spinner Fawad Ahmed put the visitors within sight of a much-needed victory.
Livingstone chipped in by having Josh Lalor (8) caught by Ashton Agar at deep midwicket before he took Ben Laughlin (17) at extra cover as Brisbane were all out for 109.
