Barrow's Liam Livingstone took his first wicket in South Africa's Mzansi Super League during Cape Town Blitz's 15-run victory against Tshwane Spartans at Newlands.
Livingstone had earlier contributed eight runs to the Blitz's 157-5, which included 53 off 40 balls from David Bedingham and 21 not out from Vernon Philander down the order that proved very important.
After Dale Steyn, outstanding in taking 3-10, had ripped through the Spartans' top order, Livingstone had their captain Heinrich Klaasen caught at backward point by Philander.
The 26-year-old later caught fellow Englishman Tom Curran at deep midwicket, as the visitors' chase fell short.
