Vickerstown picked up a vital away point at Coppull United in the Premier Division of the West Lancashire League, but it took a last minute penalty from Dave Round Jnr to make sure they didn’t leave empty handed.

The game was locked at 0-0 until the 88th minute when Dodacoa put Coppull ahead but in the last seconds of the game, Mike Rushton was felled in the area and up stepped Round, who made no mistake.

Ulverston Rangers beat Hesketh Bank 5-2 thanks to goals from James Pinnegor, Zach Milby, Matty Lawler, Andy Whiteford and Josh Cronin.

Millom got back to winning ways with a 3-1 defeat of Haslingden St Marys on Hannah Field, Phil Edmondson (2) and Theo Wilson on target for them.

Hawcoat Park picked up a point on the back of their 1-1 draw at Horwich St Marys Victoria. Hakan McCracken put Hawcoat 1-0 up inside ten minutes but they were pegged back with 15 minutes remaining.

A Callum Rayner goal put Askam 1-0 up at Kendal County with 25 minutes left on the clock, but the hosts equalised within five minutes remaining and the game finished 1-1.

Crooklands Casuals made the trip to the leaders Lostock St Gerards and had them on the rack after Ben Stoker put Cassies 1-0 up with a penalty in the opening minutes. Lostock struck back with three goals in the last ten minutes whilst the visitors were reduced to nine men.

Walney Island are still top of the Second Division, but were made to work hard in their 2-1 win at Galgate. The league’s top scorer James Bailey grabbing both Walneys efforts in the first half.

Second-placed Rossendale beat Furness Rovers 5-1 with Josh Jones scoring the consolation goal.

Robbie McMurdo made hay at Railway Meadow as the Dalton United striker bagged four goals and Keith Holmes added a fifth in a 5-2 win against Longridge Town reserves.
