Crooklands Casuals under-12s Oranges maintained their 100 per cent record in the Barrow & District Junior Football League in style with a 12-0 away win at Furness Rovers Knights.

The Oranges are one of two teams to have won every game in the division so far and there was a steady flow of goals at Chetwynde School that allowed them to keep up the pressure at the top.

League leaders Hawcoat Park Minions made it six wins from six games with an 8-0 at Crooklands Casuals Blacks , with Curtis Liversidge scoring five of their goals.

The Minions other scorers were Keiron Culley, Rhys McKenna and Joe McKechnie as they remained three points clear of the Oranges, having played a game more.

Jamie Calvert scored twice and Fraser Chambers bagged the other goal as Furness Rovers Royals recorded a 3-1 victory away at Furness Cavaliers, for whom Ethan Townson was on target.

In the Under-16 Premiership, Walney Island kept up their perfect record after five games by defeating Holker Old Boys under-15 Colts 6-0, while Millom Juniors edged to a 1-0 win over Furness Rovers under-15 Whites .

In the Championship, Swarthmoor Colts went three points clear after emerging clear 5-1 winners against Crooklands Casuals in what was a top-of-the-table clash.

Holker Old Boys Stags were too strong for Furness Rovers under-15 Royals as they breezed their way to a 7-0 victory at the Training Pitch.

Jack Osman was among the scorers as Vickerstown under-15 Blues picked up their second win of the season, a 3-1 success against Crooklands Casuals under-15s.

Just one game was played in the Under-14 Premiership, as Swarthmoor moved themselves up to third in the table after comfortably seeing off bottom side Ulverston Rangers under-13s 6-2.

In the Championship, Hawcoat Park Hawks defeated Askam United under-13s 7-1, Ethan Dodding and Luke Robinson both scoring twice, while their other goals came from Layton Deakin, Ethan Pimentel and Mitchell McKenzie.

Goals from Bradley Warne, Will Scott, Toby Lightfoot and Kenzie Atkinson helped Walney Island under-13s to a 4-2 win at Barrow Island.
