Windermere take on Millom at Dawes Meadow in today’s local-ish derby as the Ambers take on the Blues.

There’s not likely to be too many changes for the hosts, with Dan Harrison looking to get stuck back into the front row alongside Luke Todd and Jamie Hardman, although Tom Alderson may have different thoughts on that.

Phil Murphy will be in the engine room alongside Josh Dawson, with Greg Meschino, Paul Mahler and skipper Jonny Benson making up a tight eight to contend the set piece.

Liam Mckinnon and Bertie Hodgson make up the half-backs looking to get the back line away, having Bobby Davis and Moses Dawson out wide. Josh Holmes and Dave Armstrong are the centres with Fricker at full back more than able to break the line.

Millom have had some good results of late and will be looking to be virtually unchanged from last time out with Steve Watson and Ian Cumming propping up the front three.

Captain Keiran Coulson will be chomping at the bit to get a piece of the action and, along with Joe Laydon and Matty Jordan, will need plenty of time on the ball to help get the backline good ball with Trevor Dixon always on hand looking to release Chris Park, Sy Robertson and Joe Fisher.

Robbie Pattinson’s all-round play will keep Mere on the back foot, as Millom look to continue their rich vein of form.
