Hawcoat Park are on the road this afternoon as they face table-toppers Cockermouth in Cumbria Division One.

The Maroon and Whites have made a few changes in personnel for the game, but they still travel with an effective team, on paper.

Scott Dobbie and Andy Kent are set to be joined by the returning Ryan Brown, with John Donnan and Grady Slater making up a strong-looking front five.

Jack Sutherland moves to the back row to join Alfie White, who comes back into the side after a recent trip to Africa.

Skipper Chris Burns will be looking for the back division to come up trumps, with fly-half George Smith looking for good ball from scrum-half Jack Shannon.

Will Coles looks to return to the centre berth with Robert Shephard and Benji Platt wanting early ball out wide to get points on the board.

Lewis Sayle and Jason Milby make up the starting XV with Joe Rea, Jack Lord and Harry Higgins looking to make their own personnel in roads in to the squad.

With a change of fortune, Hawcoat Park A will be looking for more points on the board this week as they face Littleborough 3rd XV at home.

Captain Peter Jennens will be looking to the front row of Gareth Morgan and young Lewis Philips to make an impact this week.

Stand-off James Dunne will pull the strings, with Dan Scott and Jay Crowe all looking for good ball from the man inside them. Dan Hayes and Martin Kennedy return to the side, along with Colin Wright and Rich Dalton.

Jack Osten is playing some great rugby in the back row and will be alongside Ben Hughes, who made his debut for the side last time out. With Adam Armstrong, Brad Williams, Jack Lord and Ben Karaka also available and a few late fitness tests to come, Park look pretty strong for this one.

Furness find themselves travelling to Kirby Stephen today to take on the exciting Upper Eden side who have looked sharp all season so far.

Final selection is to be confirmed but the Blues will be hopeful of travelling with a full complement after a great home win last time out against Windermere.

Corne Els and Will Mallinson will be key this week as will Dave Finlayson, who has been performing well as of late. ‘Mr Dependable’ Mark Hall has been pulling the jersey on all year and will be looking to join the forwards in Jack Budgen, Grant Adams and Cam McClure.

Alex Brown and Jordan Ashton will look to open up Eden and release Russ Birch and Dan Sayle and returnees Rhys Studt and Tez Nueto
