After last week's shock defeat on the road at Silloth, Hawcoat Park face a tough task at home tomorrow as they come up against the might of Whitehaven in Cumbria Division One.

There are a few missing faces this week, so there is no doubt it will be all hands to the pump in this one.

The injury list grows, as it's likely John Donnan will be missing, but old head Colin Niven will hopefully get over a knock in good time to step up to the front three and join Scott Dobbie and Adam Grainger.

New recruit Andrew Graham turned out well in his debut last week and is likely to keep his shirt alongside Jack Sutherland with the back row of Callum Ramsay and Lee Van Harron more than a handful for any team.

Will Coles keeps his scrum-half shirt and will link up with George Smith, with centres Jason Milby and skipper Chris Burns both looking for points.

Last week's other debutant, Luke Harrison, keeps his place with Benji Platt. This will all change if Brad Marwood becomes available before kick-off, as the Maroon and Whites look to get back on track following their first loss of the campaign

Vale of Lune 3rd XV let Hawcoat Park A down last week as they couldn’t travel. This week, they are hopeful Vale's 4ths will come up to Barrow and face them in the Robinsons Brewery Shield.

For their part, Park look to have a strong squad on paper with captain Peter Jennens hoping for a strong start with Ryan Brown, Jack Fawcett and Lewis Phillips showing good last time out.

Jordan Bayliff and Corey Doughty will be in the second row looking for support from the back three.

Jack Shannon could be at scrum-half with young Joe Dalton on hand at fly-half.

Jake Rigg in the centres will be a handful, along with Joe Rea and Rob Shephard vying for the other berth. Jack Lord and Adam Armstrong are the wide men with new recruit Ben Hughes making his debut for the club at full back.
