Furness picked up their second win of the season in Cumbria Division One, as they defeated Creighton 33-21at the Strawberry Grounds last Saturday.
Jack Torkington opened the scoring after a superb weaving run from 60 metres, with James Howden adding the conversion and 7-0 remained the score until the 25th minute.
That was when Dan Sayle made a break from just before halfway before eventually going in under the posts, but the match threatened to turn on Karl Benn's sin-binning.
This allowed Creighton to hit back with tries either side of half-time to level the match at 14-14, but thankfully for the hosts, they regained their composure to ultimately take the game away from their visitors.
After 52 minutes, Corne Els found a hole in the defence to crash over in the corner and the bonus point was secured almost straight from the restart, as Jack Budgen was put through to score.
Furness had a fifth try when the ball was worked off the line-out into the hands of Will Mallinson, but they were reduced to 13 men (they already had a man in the bin) when Benn was shown a second yellow card, which allowed Creighton to score the final try of the afternoon.
Windermere suffered a tough day on the road as they were beaten 60-5 at St Benedicts, while Millom's home game against Egremont was postponed as their opponents couldn't raise a team.
