Ulverston Wheels For All Club are looking forward to their adapted cycling sessions at Ulverston Tennis Centre (Astroturf) this autumn.

The launch for the sessions was held last Thursday and was well-received with lots of keen budding cyclists enjoying the benefits of fitness, freedom and fun on a bicycle.

The club have adapted cycles for kids aged seven all the way up to adults, with it being anticipated to be very popular amongst junior riders.

There is a great range of cycles available at the centre, from trikes to quads, recumbents and side-by-sides, as well as the standard two-wheeler.

The sessions are held weekly every Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm from March until October at Ulverston Leisure Centre’s Tennis Centre on Priory Road, with them costing £3 per person, including refreshments.

Ulverston WFA’s cycling project sessions offers all-ability cycling for anyone who has a disability or differing needs.

Their aim is to encourage health improvement, social inclusion and provide adapted cycling in a safe and pleasant setting, including a dedicated circuit and delivered support.
