Rising rugby league star Luke Broadbent has received The Mail's Sports Performance of the Month award for July after a successful spell playing with his country.
The 16-year-old product of Walney Central earned his first international call-up for England Youth during the month and the St Bernard's School pupil scored tries in both of their matches against France at Hull KR and Wakefield.
To add to that achievement, Broadbent also signed a three-year professional contract with Super League club Warrington Wolves earlier this month.
In doing so, he followed in the footsteps of his dad Gary, who also moved into the professional ranks aged 16 when he signed for Widnes.
