Barrow AFC manager Ian Evatt is demanding his side continue to improve their performances during their pre-season, with their latest friendly coming against Morecambe tonight.
The Shrimps are the second team from the Football League that the Bluebirds will be facing this month, after they returned to action against Blackburn Rovers just over a week ago.
Evatt said: "It's about August 3 primarily, with Wrexham away, and from now on we need to keep improving and keep working hard.
"We have seen progression, I believe, with a good first half against Blackburn and a not-so-good second half, an OK first half against Furness Select and in the second half against Workington I thought we were much better.
"Are we there yet? No, but they are getting better every day."
