Former Barrow AFC striker Nathan Waterston re-signed for the Bluebirds' fellow Cumbrians Workington last Saturday.
Waterston becomes the first signing for Reds manager Danny Grainger, who took charge at Borough Park at the end of last month after retiring as a player at Carlisle United.
The 22-year-old Barrovian left AFC two weeks ago after an injury-hit 14 months with the club, in which he scored one goal in 16 appearances.
He had previously played for Workington for the first two months of 2018 before his arrival at Holker Street and he'll be looking to help the Reds out of Division One West of the Northern Premier League next season.
