Junior football team Vickerstown under-14s are the recipients of The Mail's sports performance of the month award for April.
Vickerstown swept all before them this season, winning all but one of their games as they won all four of the competitions that were available to them.
They even claimed two competitions within 24 hours of each other, as they clinched the Barrow & District Junior Football League title by defeating nearest rivals Holker Old Boys Red before thrashing Furness Rovers in the final of the Furness District FA Cup the following day.
They weren't finished there, as Dave Shurgold's side added the BDJFL Knockout Cup and Ulverston Hopsital Cup the following week to what is now a bulging trophy cabinet.
