Barrow AFC manager Ian Evatt could be swapping the dugout for the pitch during the latter stages of his side's pre-season friendly against former club Blackpool in July.
A year after Evatt retired from playing to take charge of the Bluebirds, he looks set to be joining his charges in action and make a cameo appearance after a campaign from the club's Twitter account reached its target.
On Friday evening, it stated that if they reached 1,000 retweets then the 37-year-old would dust off his boots and play the final five minutes of the match against the Seasiders, for whom he made 251 appearances between 2006 and 2013.
That target was achieved the following morning.
