Striker Jack Hindle will remain with Barrow AFC next season, after the club exercised the option to retain the 25-year-old for another year.
Hindle finished as the Bluebirds’ top scorer in the 2018/19 campaign with 12 goals to cap what was a successful first season at Holker Street after signing from Colwyn Bay last summer.
In what was his first year in the National League, Hindle’s highlights include scoring both goals in AFC’s first away win under Ian Evatt, at Dover Athletic, and the winner at Eastleigh, who came within a penalty shoot-out of reaching the promotion final on Sunday.
He also struck twice on his debut against Havant & Waterlooville last August, while he has goals against Leyton Orient and AFC Fylde to his name as well.
Hindle is the latest player to secure his future with Barrow, with the likes of captain Josh Granite, goalkeeper Joel Dixon, Sam Hird and Josh Kay all agreeing new contracts in recent weeks.
Born in Warrington, Hindle is someone who has risen through the ranks in non-League football, having had two spells with Radcliffe Borough, either side of a stint with 1874 Northwich.
He went on to join Colwyn Bay in summer 2017 and he had a good time of things in North Wales, scoring 13 goals and chipping in with 21 assists for the Northern Premier League side.
