BARROW Raiders' star forward Willie Minoga has made an emergency return home to Papua New Guinea after his wife was involved in a serious road accident.

The 31-year-old prop was due to take to the field for the Raiders tomorrow in their Betfred Championship clash with Featherstone Rovers but instead will be with his family after the club granted him compassionate leave.

Minoga boarded a flight to Papua New Guinea on Saturday lunchtime following the news that his wife, who is pregnant, had been injured in the accident.
