Walney Central under-16s will be facing a team from the division above them on Saturday when they welcome Thatto Heath Crusaders to Central Drive in the Lancashire & North West Youth Cup.

All of our junior rugby league teams had the weekend off last weekend, so Cents should be well rested for what will be a tough test against the team who play in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League. However, they have lost their previous two games in the competition.

Barrow Island and Ulverston will both be playing in the under-16s plate, as they welcome Rochdale Mayfield and Wigan St Judes, respectively.

Two teams will be returning to action in the North West League, including in-form Roose Pioneers under-15s, who will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent record in Division Three when they travel to Langworthy Reds.

Askam under-15s will be at home to Latchford Giants in Division Two, as they look to pick up their third league win of the season and push themselves up the table.

There are plenty of matches in the Barrow & District Youth League as well, as Dalton under-14s look to get off the mark at the first time of asking as they face Millom at home, while Ulverston have the chance to go level on points with leaders Hindpool Tigers when they travel to Askam.

At under-12s level, both Askam and Millom have the chance to make it four wins from four when they face Ulverston at home and Dalton away, respectively.

Elsewhere, Roose Pioneers face Barrow Island, while Walney Central are up against Hindpool Tigers.
