AWAY supporters who travelled from the North East to watch Hartlepool take on Barrow have thanked the community for their warm welcome.
More than 1,000 Hartlepool fans donned in fancy dress made the trip to Holker Street and watched their side lose 1-0 at what was their final away game of the season.
Stephen Gofton told The Mail: Just like to say thanks to all the Barrow fans and landlords in the area (Ulverston and Barrow) for making it a really great day out.
"Very friendly and will be back next year."
