Barrow Wanderers are First Division champions in the Furness Premier League and have sealed their promotion to the Premier League in the process.

Their 8-1 win against Croftlands Park reserves saw Scott McDonald and Dan Turner each score hat tricks, while Jordan Wallace scored a brace. Steve Bleasdale replied in vain for Croftlands.

British Legion will be runners-up and they beat Barrow Celtic reserves 4-0, with Coen White, Zak Gill, Damo Minnican and Lee Kavanagh their scorers.

Furness Rovers reserves beat Kirkby United reserves 3-1 on penalties in the Junior Cup but due to player ineligibility, Kirkby will be in the hat for the semi-finals.

Ulverston Rangers reserves have secured the runners-up spot in the Second Division and gained promotion to the First Division on the back of a 5-1 win over Walney Island A.

Charlie York, Aron Beardsworth (2), Archie Butler and Joel Lackey were all on target.

Holker Old Boys picked up three points with a great 3-0 home win against Chadderton in the North West Counties League.

JP Stanway was at the double and Nathan Reid also scored for the hosts, who are now six points clear of the relegation zone with two games remaining and with a tight goal difference they could still be mathematically caught by nearest rivals Daisy Hill. Holker host AFC Blackpool on Monday and Daisy Hill face already-relegated Atherton LR.
