Barrow AFC are likely to have defender Connor Brown and striker Dior Angus in their matchday squad for tomorrow's match at Maidenhead United after they recently returned to training.

Brown hasn't featured since injuring his ankle in the Bluebirds' victory against Aldershot Town on March 9, while Angus has been out since suffering a similar problem after a rough challenge at Wrexham three days later.

He did try to return for the match against Boreham Wood at the end of last month, but suffered a setback during the warm-up, as he tried to rush himself back into contention.

Manager Ian Evatt: "Dior is back training, whether he's fit enough to start on Friday, probably not, but he's fit and available for selection, as is Connor Brown.

"He trained on Wednesday with no problem, so he'll be available.

"Josh Kay is back after his back injury kept him out last week, so we've got a few players back."

Unfortunately, it's unlikely striker Rhys Turner will play again this season due to a hamstring injury, his latest setback in what has been a frustrating campaign.

Brian Wilson and Jacob Blyth are also set to miss out at York Road, but the return of Kay, who seems to have found his best position out wide on the right, is a welcome boost.

"It was never going to be a long one, but he's fine now, he's trained this week so he'll be fine for Friday," Evatt said.
