VICKERSTOWN return to West Lancashire League Premier Division action tomorrow aiming to rebound from their Richardson Cup exit last Saturday.

Dave Round’s side were edged out 3-2 at home to Poulton, but now have a great opportunity to move back up the table when they travel to fifth-placed Blackpool Wren Rovers.

Wren Rovers are just two points ahead of Vickerstown in the standings, with the Walney side having games in hand on the teams above them too.

In Division One, Askam United’s bid to claw back points on the sides above them continues when they hosts Lostock St Gerard’s, while Hawcoat Park are at home to Eagley.

Millom face a tricky away day at leaders Lytham Town and Ulverston Rangers are on the road to third-placed Stoneclough.

There is only one fixture involving a team from this area in Division Two, where Furness Cavaliers head to Kendal United.

The day’s Furness Premier League action sees Kirkby United and Bootle face away games as they attempt to stay clear of the chasing pack at the top of the Premier Division.

There is a top-two clash in Division One, where league leaders British Legion host Barrow Wanderers.
