IT will be a step into the unknown for Millom when they host Red Star Belgrade in the first round of the 2019 Challenge Cup.

The Serbian side are making their debut in the competition and this evening's draw saw them handed a trip to Woolybacks on the weekend of January 26 and 27.

It will undoubtedly be a memorable occasion and Millom will be aiming to make their mark against their overseas opponents.

The high-profile nature of the match means there is a good chance it could be selected for live streaming via the BBC Sport website.

Millom are the only amateur team from this area involved in next year's competition, with Barrow Raiders entering in round four, although there is interest from West Cumbria too.

Of the teams from up the coast, Kells were drawn at home to Rochdale Mayfield, Distington were handed a home tie with Welsh side Torfaen Tigers and Wath Brow Hornets were given a trip to London Chargers.
