WINDERMERE field arguably their strongest squad of the season to date as they aim to continue their impressive run in Cumbria League Two.

The Ambers take on Workington Zebras as Dawes Meadow tomorrow and Skipper Johny Benson will be overseeing proceedings from number eight, with fellow back-rowers Brad Askam and Adam Hague on hand to snaffle loose balls.

The front five look to be strong as Jamie Hardman returns to the line-up alongside Dan Harrison and regular Luke Todd, with second rowers Phil Murphy and Paul Mayer pushing the the front row on and helping to win the set pieces.

Liam McKinnon and club stalwart Bertie Hodgson continue their established half-back pairing, and wide men Moses Dawson and Tom Atkinson will be hoping for plenty of ball in hand to get across the whitewash with Neil Piggot in the centres.

The safe pair of hands at full-back belong to Daelon Hernandez, who is more than capable of not only executing the tackle but joining the line in attack.

Ollie Askew, Luke Robinson and Josh Dawson are on the bench for the clash with a Workington side just one point ahead of them in third.

Elsewhere, Millom aim to make it back-to-back wins when they visit Creighton.

Hawcoat Park’s first team do not have a match tomorrow, although the A side play in North West Intermediate League Division Four North at home to Blackburn 3.

Having been narrowly beaten at Bolton 3 last Saturday after travelling with just 13 players due to some being needed for the senior side, Park A have more depth for this match.

Mike Gibson returns alongside Joe Dalton, Johnny Hutton, Dan Hayes, Jason Milby, Rob Harvey and Mark Hall.

Regulars Ryan Brown and Paul Woodburn will be the driving force up front, with Luke Shaw and possibly Corey Doherty in the engine room.

Young Harry Higgins looks to build on an impressive first-team appearance last week, while Peter Jennens, Rory Sayle and Peter Matthews are all keen on a starting spot.

Scott Garnett is at scrum-half, and Conor McDermott, Jay Crowe and Lewis Sayle all vie for a centre role.
