RHYS Studt is optimistic Furness’ second-team’s game at home to Cockermouth 2 tomorrow will be the first of many this season.
The team will feature a mix of experienced and young players, including faces from the past such as Stu Hudson and Adam McLarnon.
And Furness stalwart Studt wants to see the second XV playing regularly.
“This will be a great day for the club if we can get this team up and running, with games throughout the season to look forward to,” said Studt.
“There a real core of people putting some hard work in to get us too where we are which will hopefully generate further interest going forward.”
