With none of the Furness Premier League Premier Division’s top five in action on Saturday, Swarthmoor Social have the chance to close the gap on them when they host Millom reserves tomorrow.

Swarthmoor went down to a 2-0 defeat against Hawcoat Park reserves last week, but they’ll fancy their chances of getting back to winning ways against a Millom side who have already conceded 32 goals on their travels this season.

Britannia will want to put their 13-1 pasting against Bootle in the Terry Clinton Memorial Trophy firmly behind them when they host Dalton United reserves, who remain without a point.

The other match in the division sees Holker Old Boys reserves travel to Bootle, who have entered a prolific run of form in the last month.

In Division One, the game of the day is undoubtedly leaders Bridge United’s home clash against Swarthmoor Social reserves, with just one point separating the two sides in the table.

Hawcoat Park A, a point further back in third, could maintain the heat on the top two if they defeat Furness Rovers reserves.

The bottom two teams also come together, with Crooklands Casuals reserves travelling to Vickerstown A.

There are four games in Division Two, including Ulverston Rangers reserves having the chance to move to the top if they defeat Brittania reserves at home.
