Hawcoat Park are on the road again tomorrow as they travel to table-toppers Keswick in Cumbria League One, writes Jason Meadows.

In their first two games of the season it has taken the Hawcoat senior side 30 minutes to get started, by which time it has been too late.

So they will need to get the 80-minutes mentality into their heads as they progress into this next game.

The Maroon and Whites do welcome back Scott Kaighan into the side after a long lay-off from injury, which is a massive lift for the side, and he will link up with Jack Shannon from scrum-half.

Jack Sutherland, Grady Slater and Chris Milby should have the strength and guile in the back row to get to the breakdown early.

The only change in the front three is the return of Adam Grainger at hooker. with Paul Woodburn and Andy Kent the props, and John Donnan backing them up off the bench.

Ash Mowatt and Matt Robson continue in the second row, looking to free up good ball for the backs.

The wing positions will be filled by Rodney Odondi and Rob Shepherd, who have both made good starts to the season, supporting Chris Burns and Lewis Sayle in the centres.

With the ever improving Benji Platt at full-back, and Brad Morrow and Ryan Clegg on the bench, Hawcoat are hopeful of getting something from this one.
