CUMBRIA will travel to Yorkshire and host Lancashire after this year’s fixtures for the BARLA Three Counties competition were confirmed.

The open age and under-19s sides travel to York Acorn for their respective opening matches of the series against Yorkshire on Saturday, November 3.

Lancashire then make the trip up one week later, with Millom’s Devonshire Road playing host to the second matches for each of the county’s sides.

The tri-series concludes with a ‘War of the Roses’ clash between reigning champions Lancashire and Yorkshire at Leigh Miners Rangers on Sunday, November 18.

The under-17s kick off the Three Counties match-ups for this year though, with Cumbria and Yorkshire’s up-and-coming players doing battle at Dewsbury Moor this Sunday.

The county’s youth team then welcome Lancashire to Egremont on September 30.

Cumbria’s under-19s begin their preparations for the tri-series this Sunday when they play Scotland under-19s at Wath Brow.
