I am writing to thank the staff, both in medical and support at Furness General Hospital.
Most of the positive thanks has been directed at the NHS response to Covid.
Although the outcome of my attendance at the Accident and Emergency department may not be positive, the efficiency, cleanliness and courtesy was exemplary throughout.
And also regarding their referral to the Ambulatory Care Unit where the service continued to meet the same high standard of courtesy and professional efficiency.
I will need to go to the RLI (Royal Lancaster Infirmary) for a particular procedure but I am more than happy to continue any further treatment at my ‘local’ hospital.
Thank you.
