THIS week I, Bald Foodie Guy, decided to head to a popular location for sweet treats.

Milkshake Madness can be found on Market Street in Dalton. The shop is ran by a lovely young lady called Jojo Louise.

I tried out warm waffle sticks, a milkshake and some ice cream doughnuts.

The waffle sticks came in a box of three, costing £5.95.

This was the 'Colourful Crunch' box.

They all looked absolutely fantastic, I was really bowled over by them.

The first waffle stick was covered in milk chocolate sauce and crushed Smarties.

I had never had anything like this before in my life.

The waffle stick was amazing.

It tasted absolutely beautiful and was very sweet.

I would say they are quite sensational. They are a very popular takeaway and I can see why.

Next up for the taste test was a waffle stick with white chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles.

This one was also really lovely.

The waffles are well cooked and are so soft and tasty.

The third waffle stick I tried was coated in milk chocolate M&M's and drizzled with white chocolate sauce.

All I can say is wow!

The chocolate sauce over the top really completes the taste of that one.

Next up were the ice cream doughnuts.

With these you get to choose your sauce and two toppings.

The first one I tried was topped with Smarties.

The cream is very tasty and it is something totally different.

It is on another level for me.

The other ice cream doughnut I tried was topped with mint Aero.

It was beautiful - in fact, there are not enough superlatives to describe this food because it is absolutely gorgeous.

To wash it all down I had the 'Salted Caramel Pretz Milkshake'.

This is made with vanilla ice cream, with chocolate salted caramel pretzels with caramel sauce, topped with cream and crushed pretzels.

This particular milkshake will set you back £4.50 for a medium or £5 for large.

It's got quite a thick texture to it. I had to get a spoon because it wouldn't come up through the straw.

But goodness gracious me, that was heaven.

The caramel cutting through the cream and the crunchiness of the pretzel - it was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic.

I definitely recommend that people visit Milkshake Madness, it is really lovely food.

It is a real treat to have it.

Milkshake Madness can be found on Facebook and on Instagram.

Orders can be placed through Barrow Eats where there is a minimum spend of £10.
