Police have released CCTV images of a football fan they want to trace after a man was injured following a Scottish Cup fixture.
The victim suffered a head wound that needed hospital treatment at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday March 3.
The incident happened shortly after the quarter-final clash between Aberdeen and Rangers, which finished in a 1-1 draw.
Officers believe the man they want to speak to may be able to help with their inquiries.
He is described as being in his 20s, with short, fair hair. He was wearing a black and grey jacket and a Rangers scarf.
Police Constable Tom Bashforth said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who recognises the man pictured to contact police via 101 quoting reference number CF0053110319.”
