A SOUTH Cumbria MP is going to feature in a Christmas Day radio broadcast.
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron will feature on Lakeland Radio on Christmas Day with a selection of his favourite hits from across the years.
The Liberal Democrats leader will present his ‘Top 40’ songs during the Christmas show which will be aired between 12pm and 3pm.
Local people can listen to Lakeland Radio by tuning into 100.1/100.8/101.4 fm, or alternatively the show can be accessed online at www.lakelandradio.co.uk/radioplayer
Mr Farron said: "There’s something for everyone coming up, with hits ranging from the Beatles to the Wild Beasts. Christmas Day is for relaxation and enjoyment, and what better way to do that than to listen to some of these classics.”
Lakeland Radio is supporting the 'Help The North' charity song It Won't Be Long Till Christmas' created by local musicians in aid of The Community Foundation for Lancashire Flood Appeal' and 'Cumbria Flood Appeal'.
