SHOCKING footage has emerged allegedly showing a man from Walney blaming a woman's “family” for the Manchester bombing in a rant on a train.

Shahina Patel began filming after receiving racist abuse from a man on a train between London and Manchester on Monday, The Sun has reported.

He has since been identified as David Blagburn from Walney, police sources have told the Evening Mail.

Although the video is available online, we have chosen not to publish it because of the distressing content.

Uploading the video to Twitter, Shahina wrote: “This happened today 1427 LAN to MAN @TPExpressTrains.

“If you see stuff like this SPEAK UP even if you’re not directly addressed.”

The man appears to blame her for the Manchester terror attack, in which 22 people lost their lives when an Islamic extremist blew himself up at a pop concert.

He then allegedly tells her it was her “family who made this happen”.

She replies: “Do you know who my family are? You don’t know anything about me.”

The man also says Shahina needs to “be aware” of how people will treat her “because of what you did”.

Throughout the video the man insists he is not being racist or aggressive.

He says: “I’m not against Muslims, I’m against extremist people.”

In a second video, another passenger on the train speaks to the man to complain about what he has been saying.

She tells him: “I don’t want that lady to feel uncomfortable on this train because she has done nothing wrong at all.”

Uploading the second clip, Shahina wrote: “Later a person DID say something.

“Next time someone sit with me, talk to me, speak up sooner. I felt alone.”

Shahina revealed that she had reported the incident to British Transport Police who are now understood to be investigating the footage.
