A MAN has been handed nine penalty points after admitting driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident.
Kieran Andrew Braithwaite, 23, of Marsh Garth, Kirkby-in-Furness, pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on April 18.
The incident occurred in Dalton on December 29.
Braithwaite was fined £300 and ordered to carry out 70 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.
