RESIDENTS in towns and villages affected by bus cuts are being asked for their views in a campaign to save services.
The number 7 bus from Millom to Barrow runs down the coast through Askam and took its last passengers two weeks ago.
Now, Conservative councillor Ben Shirley, the member for Dalton North on Cumbria County Council, has sent surveys to people in Kirkby, Askam and Ireleth to canvass opinion for a new replacement service.
