A beloved cafe in south Cumbria is celebrating 25 years of business with a special event today.
The Old Bakehouse Cafe on Brogden Street in Ulverston has invited customers and residents to visit the shop for a 'glass of bubbly and a slice of cake' to properly mark the anniversary.

The celebrations are being held today (Saturday, October 12), with the team looking to repay the support they have received from the local community for a quarter of a century.
The owner Pamela Bayliss has turned the cafe into a frequent hotspot for regulars who can never get enough of her traditional cooking.
Having previously studied at a catering college in Accrington, Pamela moved to the area at the age of 20 and started working as a cook in the café she would later go on to own.
The cafe will be hoping to reminisce with customers of old on Saturday.
