THERE are reports of heavy traffic between J36-J37 near Kendal M6 Cumbria this morning due to emergency barrier work."
It is not known how long repairs will take today.
Traffic Monitoring website Inrix reports: "M6 Cumbria both directions. One lane closed due to emergency barrier repairs on M6 in both directions from J36 A590 (Kirkby Lonsdale) to J37 A684 (Kendal). Traffic is coping well."
