A performer from Barrow is returning to where it all began with a live show later this month.
Dave Rawson lived in Barrow from 1982 until 1997 when he performed his sell out show at The Forum and the Coronation Hall in Ulverston.
He then moved to Ibiza where, for the next 20 years, he was one of the region's most popular comedy hypnotists, eventually bringing his act to cruise ships and a tour around Asia.
Dave will be having a homecoming like no other on Saturday, September 21 at the Bowler Bar in the Laurel and Hardy Museum.
He has decided to bring his show back to Ulverston as a taster for the 'wonderful people who supported his past shows'.
A member of the Magic Circle, the show will also be supported by a few members of the North Western Society of Magicians.
Whilst the show is suitable for all ages, only people aged over 18 will be able to get involved on stage.
