South Lakes Police have made an arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
In between calls on Wednesday September 4, a vehicle was stopped by Neighbourhood Policing Officers in Kendal.
The driver failed a roadside drug wipe and officers located controlled substances.
They also found the vehicle to have no insurance.
The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of these offences and taken into Custody.
Police said that if the evidential samples confirm that a drug driving offence has occurred then a driving disqualification will follow just like that for a drink driver.
