A WOMAN who lost her baby daughter while six months pregnant is helping an organisation she described as her 'saving grace'.
Freya Jepson is organising a cake sale and will donate all proceeds to the Tigerlily Trust, in memory of Autumn, her baby girl.
This ‘wonderful’ charity provides support to bereaved parents who have lost their baby due to miscarriage or stillbirth and is a source of comfort in ‘the worst moments’.
From knitting baby clothes, to handing out memory packages and offering a support group, Freya said their help is invaluable, and something she will never forget.

Freya sadly lost her baby daughter when she was six months pregnant.
“Tigerlily was a saving grace at a really dark time for me and my family,” she said.
In answer to a desperate plea for funds put out of Facebook by Val Isherwood, the founder of the Tigerlily Trust, Freya is giving back to the charity in memory of Autumn, who was taken too soon.
Freya wants to repay the support she received almost eight years ago and said: “It feels right to give back to Val and the charity, as I know how it feels to lose a baby.”
The fundraiser is being held on Saturday September 14 from 10am to 3pm at the Abbey Mill Cafe in Barrow.
With help from her boyfriend, Freya plans to make a lot of the cakes herself, while some of her friends and colleagues from work will donate bakes too.
Freya previously held a cake sale in 2017 and managed to raise £500, this time she hopes to raise even more.
The funds will go towards providing vital support to bereaved parents at Furness General Hospital.
“There’s a support group and an online Facebook group which was invaluable to me when I first lost my baby.”

Freya said she is really grateful to Jackie, the owner of Abbey Mill Cafe for supporting her and being kind enough to let her host the cake sale there.
Freya has set up a Just Giving page which has already reached an ‘amazing’ £200. You can make your own donation here.
Everyone is invited to ‘pop along’ on the day and any contributions would be appreciated.
