A new park area in south Cumbria is starting to take shape after a month of construction.
This has also included the redevelopment of the old sensory area which began at the start of August.
Sharing an update on Thursday (August 22), the town council described the eventual end result as a 'great area to sit, reflect, watch the world go by', and it will be designed to be accessible for all people.
They originally apologised for any inconvenience caused by the construction with local tennis players only able to access the courts via the Multi-Use Games gate.
With CCTV in operation, locals were also advised against from entering the current construction site until it is ready to be officially opened in the coming weeks.
