A new recruit at Barrow AFC has set himself the goal of improving everyone's lives in the local area.
Emmanuel Allen-Burnett - also known as Mannie - was announced as the club's full-time Community Engagement Officer in May and is now getting ready for his first full season in the role.
He will be at every home fixture at the SO Legal Stadium, organising activities in the Fan Zone, as well as spearheading various community initiatives.
Mannie said: "I'm excited to help strengthen our community ties with various groups in Barrow-in-Furness - from planning education and employment workshops to health and wellbeing initiatives.
"My goal is to harness the power of football and the passion of our supporters to improve the lives and opportunities for everyone in our community."
If you have any ideas that Mannie can take onboard, you can get in touch by emailing M.Allen@barrowafc.com.
