Plans have been revealed for the returning celebrations to mark an ancient tradition of a Cumbria town.
Ulverston Charter Day commemorates the awarding of a charter by King Edward I in 1280, which allowed the town to hold markets.
Organised by the town council, this year's free family fun day will be taking place on Saturday, September 7 between 10.30am and 3.30pm across the town centre.
It will feature performances from the Ulverston Town Band, singer and guitarist Char, and the Boom Dang Drummers.
A dog show, which is free to enter, will be entertaining the crowds at Market Cross from 2pm, whilst the likes of magic shows, balloon modelling and face painting can be found throughout the event.
Added to this will be model railway rides, a Victorian street organ, stilt-walking performers, and family crafts at The Coro.
