Councillor Janice Brown, the representative for the Haverigg ward, has taken it upon herself to place on the agenda the issue of dog fouling on Haverigg Beach and the surrounding area.
It will be the 13th point on the agenda addressed by the council, alongside such topics as the 'consolidation and provision' of speed limits on various roads in the South Cumberland area and the proposed installation of a radio base station at Horn Hill.
This comes in the same month that 'numerous complaints' were issued to the town council about dog fouling in and around Millom.
