MORE than £50,000 has been raised for the two charities set to benefit from Dave Day.
A target of £15,000 had been set for the two chosen charities - NSPCC Childline and The Institute of Cancer Research.
But after Dave Day on Saturday there was a surge of donations with the total, at the time of writing, reaching £51,194.
Messages on the donation page include: "What an amazing tribute. I tracked along the M40 with you guys to the Motorcycle Museum. Wish I could have gone further."
"Not a biker but have followed Dave Day in awe and admiration!! I’ll be there if you do it again… Well done all!!"
