Barrow AFC manager Pete Wild has issued a rallying cry to supporters ahead of the Bluebirds' clash with Sutton United.

This comes days after the club announced its 'bring a friend' campaign which will entitle Barrow season ticket holders to a complimentary extra ticket at the Sutton United game.

Ahead of the meeting at the SO Legal Stadium, Wild threw his backing behind the club's campaign.

He said: "First of all, what a great campaign, when we came to the club one of our big aims was to try and encourage the attendances at the club and encourage people coming down to the ground and we all know that it can have such a difference when we have got people in at Holker Street and people wanting to come down and support the players, so a fantastic campaign and the more people down the better."

Wild also urged fans to get behind his squad as they look to build on their impressive run of recent form.

He said: "Get behind the lads, they are doing ever so well at home so get behind them and try and drive us to another positive result."
