PETE WILD's Barrow AFC picked up their first win in six with their 1-0 victory in West Yorkshire against Bradford City.

Josh Kay's solitary strike in the 25th minute was all that was needed to get the Bluebirds back to winning ways and back to within five points of the play-off places.

Using WhoScored.com, we took a look at how Wild masterminded Barrow's ressurection at Valley Parade.

Statistically this was a game which Barrow deserved to win with their opponents struggling to deal with a robust Bluebirds defence.

At face value the Bantam dominated proceedings with 78 per cent possession of the ball and 10 shots on goal.

However, even with the majority of the ball, Wild's Barrow forced Harry Lewis into action with two shots on target while Paul Farman was untested.

In addition Barrow put on a staunch defensive showing which included 12 successful tackles and 22 aerial duels.

The Bluebirds were also back to their individual best with Niall Canavan and George Ray topping the performance charts with five aerial duels a piece.

Furthermore, midfielder Tom White also chipped in five successful tackles.

In the coming weeks Barrow take on Stockport County and Salford City in what could to be decisive matches as the Bluebirds look to move back towards the play-off places and buoyed by the momentum of an away win, Barrow could be in the up.
