Ahead of the game, Pete Wild sent a message directly to Bluebirds supporters, asking them for patience and recognising the frustrastions of recent results.

He said: "Stick with us, nobody said it was going to be easy. Keep turning up, keep driving the team."

Wild also called for unity in the fanbase as Barrow look to get their season back on track.

He said: "The last thing we need at the moment is for there to be any factions or divide, we have got to keep sticking together and we know at some point it will change."
