A CAMPAIGN that has delivered over 40,000 gifts over the last two years to people in need is looking for suggestions.

Before the Deliver Joy campaign returns in October, the community support group associated with Dunelm in Barrow is looking for suggestions on who to gift this year's cohort of gifts to.

In a post, it said: "This year we would like your suggestions for who you think would benefit from this cause, whether that be care homes, schools etc."

The campaign is run by Dunelm stores across the country, and this will be the third year that it operates.

Last year, the Barrow store staff donated gifts to the children's ward at Furness General Hospital.

Dunelm Team leader and duty manager Tammy Harris said last year: "The campaign is a really good idea for us to get involved with the community and help give back to people who wouldn't normally receive anything on Christmas day."
